About Dr. Raimundi

Hi, I'm Dr. Edward Raimundi III. I'm a higher education leader, published scholar, and Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) who has spent over a decade working at the intersection of student success, career development, and institutional strategy.

I currently serve as Director of Student Services at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (VMCVM) at Virginia Tech, where I lead advising, student engagement, professional development, and the full DVM student experience. I also instruct Becoming a Professional, supporting doctoral veterinary students as they develop their professional identity and prepare for career transition.

My career spans six institutions: VMCVM, Virginia Tech, Duquesne, UT Arlington, Texas Tech, and TCU. Along the way I have built university-wide career platforms, led cross-campus partnerships with 70+ faculty and staff, co-developed 50+ virtual career tools, and delivered 150+ workshops and presentations reaching 65,000+ students.

As a published scholar, my research in the Tapestry Journal of Research in Education and my Ed.D. dissertation examines leadership, advising utilization, and student development. I presented that work internationally in Lisbon, Portugal and earned the 2024 Emerging Scholar Award.
